How to be "loved" by The Party: it’s NOT money, service or adoration . . .

THE THESIS: It’s not our money or our loyalty they really crave, The Party wants us to deny ourselves and take up their burden daily.

God made us in His image.

 

Genesis 1:27

 

27 So God created mankind in his own image,

    in the image of God he created them;

    male and female he created them.

 

That means we stand alone in all God’s creation as the only of His work made in His image. What does that mean for what God thinks of us and, consequently, expects from us? 

 

The New International Version says it this way:

 

Ephesians 2:10

 

10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

 

Other translations say a differently:

Ephesians 2:10

 

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

 

New Living Translation

 

Ephesians 2:10

 

10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

 

What Does It Mean to Deny Yourself and Take Up Your Cross?

What were the truckers defending, that SO offended The Party?

. . . was it “just” their jobs, “just” their ability to feed their families, “just” their bodily autonomy?

. . . that was spoken by a man who used the excuse of protests of men pretending to be women to change policy in Canada to ban dads from calling their daughters girls if the girl had been spiritually captured and come to believe she is a boy.

He said “it worked.” The ends, then, justified the means. But, again I ask: what were the truckers defending and for what did they risk it all? They fought for their HUMANITY. The truckers refused to deny their own worth, their own humanity. From us--the Bitter Clingers, The Deplorables, The Vulgars--The Party will only “love” us when we deny that we are made in the image of God and, as such, we must treat one another as the Lord describes.

 

But, what about members of The Party? How do they gain the “love” of The Party?  Do they buy it? 

 

Sam Bankman-Fried Said He Would Give Away Billions. Broken Promises Are All That’s Left. The FTX founder pledged to donate billions. His firm’s swift collapse wiped out his wealth and ambitious philanthropic endeavors.

 

They try, but that does not buy their “love”, just their protection. Afterall, The Party doesn’t really NEED money:

What The Party wants on their members is that they ALSO deny their humanity. But, unlike The Deplorables, Bitter Clingers and The Vulgars, The Party wants its members to think of themselves as gods.
