Episode 1,292 - If Luke wanted his gospel to be believed, why did he include these embarrassing items?
Throughout Luke’s gospel, there are embarrassing elements. For example, how good of parents were Joseph and Mary? They were chosen by God, so you would think that they would be exceptional parents, and I'm sure they were. But, there is a moment in that gospel that makes you think, “What?”. If Luke wanted to be believed or respected, why would he include interactions with tax collectors? In that period of time, Jewish people would say, “Why would I follow a God who hangs out with tax collectors?”. To me, it also contains some of the most beautiful and full-circle moments.

Episode 1293- The deeper meaning of Christmas and the state of the Christian church in America - Pastor Jim Putman joins?
The Christmas miracle is a story few of us understand in depth, we need to take that knowledge back. We also need to understand how far the American Christian churches are drifting from God’s word, because even a little drift is a catastrophe.

Todd, you have blessed our country by standing for morals and American ideals. But at this stage in the destruction of our society I am forced to say:
American christian churches are no longer based on Yah's word. This is why they are crumbling at the attacks against christianity by the satanic globalists. They bought into "ecumenism" decades ago when I was a kid, and have preached all kinds of false doctrines since then.
Luke wrote down his account of the Messiah as he was guided by the Holy Spirit. It was not important to him to try to "make others believe" him.
I'll get to the main point, christmas has not one iota to do with the Messiah, the Bible or the teachings therein. In fact, and I'm sure you know this, the practice is condemned by Yahweh in the Torah. The Messiah Yahshua was not born in December, and was highly likely born during the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall.
America as a whole needs to repent and ask Yahweh to restore our righteousness and honest government, or the alternative is total destruction of our nation and way of life very soon.
