What to say when a person thinks they are “transgender” and why I do not regret the day my dad died, though I obviously miss him
Plus, Zach Abraham and I discuss the obvious war on single family housing and what owning a home has meant for freedom and economic security
Episode 765 - Responding to a so-called “transgender” listener’s challenge to me via email and why I don’t regret the day dad died
A friend who has begun listening to the Podcast and is catching up on emails said something pretty stark to me. “Sometimes, when you talk about your dad dying, it’s like you don’t regret that day. Did you and he have issues?” The answer is, sure, we had some issues but were always very close and I always dearly loved him. And . . . though I was heartbroken and though I miss my dad every day of my life, NO, I do not regret the day he died. I am grateful for that day and I hope that you, upon hearing this, will choose to make your kids grateful for the day you die, if it is something you can control.
Speaking of hard conversations, how should we respond when someone tells us they are “transgender?” It depends on who they are to us, of course, but it must be in truth--there is no such thing as being “born in the wrong body”--and in grace, with Christ’s love. This is a note I got via email. It’s from a real person and we have now exchanged emails. In the Podcast, you will hear my response.
“My name is HaVEN. Someone sent me your Podcast. One of the things you said is transgender people don’t exist. As a transgender person I found that troublesome. I assure you, I exist. Maybe you can explain this to me like I am five, instead of what I really am, a person one quarter short of my Ph.D.
HaVEN.
To serve mankind is the greatest act of humanity.”
I answer more listener emails, including a brother who holds me to account for an inaccuracy I stated in a speech.
What does God say?
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Episode 766 - Biden announces plan to force you to buy electric cars and, It’s back, this time for your house: You will own nothing and you will be happy. Zach Abraham, CIO of Bulwark Capital Management joins us
The attack on freedom continues with wars on mobility and economic viability. The people who run Joe Biden have announced a plan force car-sellers to sell 67% electric vehicles in an attempt to force you to buy these cars and trucks with kill-switches and government tracking devices built in. From Ireland to the fallen, former State of Washington, the Party is attacking single-family homes with zoning schemes to disappear such homes to taxes intended to drive people out to governments seeking to steal houses to stop the weather. Boss Capo of JP Morgan, Jamie Dimon, apparently wants the government to seize them because: global ice age, global warming, climate change, climate emergency. Something tells me Jamie has an idea on how what he builds in the place of your former home is morally superior. Jamie’s homes will probably get water service, but the people who run Joe Biden want to limit water for rural citizens, but not for city-livers. In other words, Zach and I had a lot to discuss, like how to invest our money with all of this happening. His biggest tip? Buy that which God made.
What does God say?
God provided people everything we need. This movie proves it.

Hey Brother. Thoroughly love your cast! Love the God/Biblical view of the world.
I am going to challenge you to remind us all (before/during or at the end of the cast) where our Hope comes from. I listened to 4 casts in a row on Friday during a run and I was left with a hollow gutted out feeling. I prayed and God put am old Steven Curtis Chapman song in my head - Heaven in the Real World. I believe the first part is from Billy Graham.
Where is the hope?
I meet millions who tell me that they feel demoralized by the decay around us
Where is the hope?
The hope that each of us have
Is not in who governs us or what laws are passed or
Or what great things that we do as a nation
Our hope is in the power of God working through the hearts of people
And that's where our hope is in this country
That's where our hope is in life.
All the best to you! We drive by your neck of the free world often. In-laws and son live near Blanchard.
Brother in Christ,

Casey,
Hi Brother Todd, listened to you and Zach, loved it. Can you clarify how Washington restricts water barrel water collection? I looked it up and here is what it says.
Rainwater collection is legal in the State of Washington and even authorizes counties to reduce rates for stormwater control facilities that utilize rainwater harvesting, by 10 percent or more according to Wash. Rev. Code §36.89.080. The Washington Department of Ecology issued an Interpretive Policy Statement clarifying that a water permit is not required for rooftop rainwater harvesting.
Is it Illegal to Have Rain Barrels in Washington State?

Valerie,
Superb work you do teaching and informing.
You say often that Washington state is a separate country….. I would argue that it qualifies as a separate kingdom ruled by a faction of rulers that have god complexes that want to replace anything Christian with kingly dictates.
They are making our fellowship with other Christians even more precious.
God Bless
Valerie

In episode 765 you said God thought the universe, I really see no difference in the Hindu idea that God dreams the universe and everything in it.
