Thanks. Yes, that was his view, “the wall.” The other view was that mentioning God is not the creation of a religion. By the way, God gifted Jefferson as a writer. So easy to read.

Todd,

I just want you to know that God is in all you're doing. Love you brother! If I never meet you face to face on earth, I will see you on the other side. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

I was a devoted Rush fan and that is where I heard you for the first time when you filled in. I loved the way you greeted everyone and I knew by that, you were a Christian, so I was thrilled when I found your podcast. It does change lives. Keep doing what God has called you to do, and souls will be won. Prayers always! ❤️🙏

It does have an edit button, just like how the constitution talks about the seperation of church and state.

If they are ordering followers who to vote for then they should be, seperation of church and state plain and simple. Fairly certain there's something in the constitution about it as well, it's kinda important 👍

Hi all - there is no separation of church and state in the Constitution. The First Amendment prevents the government from creating an official State Religion, just as it disallows government meddling in the free exercise of religion. “Separation of church and state” comes from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson.

Here is a direct quote from Jefferson...

"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State."

Putting "in god we trust" on money directly violates that.

Stopping churches influencing politics is part of the Johnson amendment.
