Episode 1,450 - The Bible on Manhood: Be “Strong and Courageous.” What does that mean in 2024?  (AUDIO & VIDEO)

Listen to Episodes 1,450

You will need to be strong and courageous. You are going to face a time where you are told you cannot speak the Word of God or voice godly opinions. It will happen. A lot of young men have been taught that manhood is being prideful. So, what does being strong and courageous mean, because the Bible mentions it time and time again. Now, why would I say that there will be a time when you are not allowed to speak the Word of God? In Canada, C63 is inches from passing away. This bill states that you can be fined $50,000 and thrown in prison for the rest of your life for “hate speech”. And in Washington, a bill is near passing that would give $2,000 of taxpayer money to those who turn in individuals for “biased speech”. We have to be able to respond by being strong and courageous, but in a godly way.

What does God’s Word say?

Joshua 1:9

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Deuteronomy 31:6

6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

1 Peter 5:5

5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”[a]

James 1:12

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Galatians 1:10

10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Episode 1,451- Did AOC fall over backward into giving us a plan? (AUDIO & VIDEO)

Listen to Episode

I am going to show you a video of the AOC and ask you if she fell backwards into the truth. She has asserted that protesting is about making people uncomfortable, but what happens when it happens to her? CNN falls backwards into a lot of things, like whining about the Supreme Court voting in Trump’s favor. The AOC has given us a path forward: make them uncomfortable. Make people like the paper bully, Merrick Garland, uncomfortable. He asserts that voter ID is an attempt to attack voter rights and dilute the vote of black people.

What does God’s Word say?

John 6:53-58

53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Mark 3:1-6

1 Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand. 2 And they watched Jesus,[a] to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him. 3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come here.” 4 And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent. 5 And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. 6 The Pharisees went out and immediately held counsel with the Herodians against him, how to destroy him.
